Going Deep with More Insights and Milestones from Trailblazers

Last month, an unprecedented event was brought to you in the form of a broadcast over multiple days called the Trailblazer Summit and Symposium. Celebrating the pioneers of yesterday and today, trailblazers who have forged a path when others saw only obstacles, and disruptors who defy the status quo, who zig when everyone zags. Thousands of viewers tuned in over multiple platforms, and thousands more are still watching the replays. And it’s no wonder, with some of the leading inspirational speakers and thought leaders of our time being interviewed, including Lisa Nichols, Mark Victor Hansen, Les Brown, Dr. John Gray, Dr. John DeMartini, and Denis Waitley, and many more.

Sponsored by this publication as well as the DC Chronicle, the Atlanta Post, the Diva Network, Nasdaq’s New to the Street, and Operation Impact, and co-produced by Top Talent Agency and ACE Productions, the event attracted interesting talent and speakers from various industries, including television and film, art, neuroscience, marketing, coaches, experts in the quantum realm, and all sorts of trailblazing entrepreneurs.

During the event, participants were asked several questions about whether they are trailblazers, pioneers, or disruptors, in what ways, and what they have contributed to their industries. Lisa Nichols talked about how she broke down barriers when she created radical authenticity and intimate proximity, going out into the crowd when she speaks and taking intimacy to a whole new level. Esteemed legend, 91-year-old Denis Waitley, bestselling author of The Psychology of Winning, shared his upcoming project, The Psychology of Love. Dr. John DeMartini joined the broadcast from his ship off the coast of Vietnam, sharing about his contributions to our world that continue to inspire generations.

Several more guests you will want to watch closely are making a name for themselves in their fields. Among these leaders of the pack, we interviewed a few who seemed to have something especially unique going on.

Jenn Beninger and Carson Cooper, founders of Genius Unlocked, seem to be taking the coaching industry by storm as they bring enhanced credibility to the coaches they certify, offering 7 certifications in a multimodality approach. Here they share with us what qualifies them as unique trailblazing experts.

Do you see yourself as more of a Trailblazer, a pioneer, or a disruptor? And why?

We have been innovators turned experts. We believe in genius, and we believe in integrating the science of the brain and repeatable processes with your genius. We became trailblazers with this multimodality approach. We looked at everything that was working and decided to put it all together, plus have a certification, so there’s credibility, and you can connect to your genius. We’re continuously finding new ways to make it better. We teach breath work, nonviolent communication, somatic coaching, hypnotherapy, reiki, NLP, and ICF, plus our root-cause coaching and quantum release process. This is more than a step above the idea that ‘anyone can be a coach because they have a cool life.’ We are trailblazers because we are constantly striving for greater excellence; we look at our results, always asking how we can do better and how we can serve more people.

An example of a time you felt like you hit a dead end and had to forge on blazing your own trail where there previously wasn’t one?

Working only in the conscious mind was a huge wall we came up against years ago. Then we got into the unconscious mind and realized how to integrate the unconscious mind with the conscious mind together for the biggest shifts. As we strive to improve, we may beat our heads against the wall, but then our solution is to pivot, and that movement allows us to blaze a new trail. We’ll bang our heads a little bit on a wall and then recognize that we have power inside of us, and we can make a success, and we don’t blame it on other people.

We went further into the multimodality approach because it’s not one size fits all, and that opened up a new path. In the coaching industry, I think when people had a bad experience or felt they wasted money, it was likely due to that one-size approach. We believe you must understand the brain and why things work. Then, people can absolutely get transformation.

What tools, methods, or things did you develop that didn’t exist already or that you wanted to improve upon?

Getting to the root cause and releasing it. Besides using so many modalities, we also work holistically in all areas of life. We can figure out what specific area of life and root cause is cross-contextualized and causing you challenges over in another area. For me, my business and money challenges were in intimate relationships and family. There are nine areas of life, and we help people even recognize that their problem and root cause could be in a different area of life that’s affecting their business. As trailblazers, we’ve let people understand and release the root cause, which changes all areas of their lives, not just the one that they think their problem is in. We even created our own processes or modalities called Root Cause Coaching and our Quantum Release Process.

In what ways were you the first or one of the first to do something?

All our processes, modalities, and practices are recognized, accredited, and or certified by ICF and or IFNLP, including the two we created ourselves. We upleveled that board because we’ve upleveled the coaching industry and we could prove it. We do eight different modalities in our one process; three of those are in the conscious mind, three of those are in the unconscious mind, and two of those are in the integration between the two. Certifications matter, but not all of them are created equally.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is an international professional coaching association that has its own Board. All corporations are familiar with this standard. ICF is conscious mind coaching.

International Federation of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (IFNLP) Jenn earned the International Master Trainer Certification with IFNLP. They are open and accepting of new modalities when you can prove massive results on numerous people. Once certified, Jenn introduced them to our Quantum Release Process and our Root Cause Coaching. We were able to get those approved by that international board because we can teach them to somebody, and they can repeat them and get results.

The final level we offer for coaches we certify is the Trainer’s Trainer, and then they pass the license and can teach it.

Are there things that already existed that you think you improved upon, and how did you do that?

Meditations that are imbued with our processes to create massive shifts. Everyone knows about meditation and the many benefits. However, meditation is spiritual AND science-based. Dispenza opened this correlation, and we have built upon it. It isn’t just sitting there and relaxing, it’s changing the brain. What we teach is what is released in the body and how rather than just hoping meditation helps it. Then, there is the conscious level of coaching, like cognitive behavioral therapy, where thought leads to an emotion, behavior, and result. Through a question, you can shift the neurology of the brain. If someone can’t make a certain amount of money, they’ve created a neurological rut around their money beliefs.

We created a process based on quantum physics, building upon an existing process called Timeline Therapy. We don’t just try to reframe each one of those thoughts that don’t serve you, those blocks. (These are from a suppressed identity or a need that was unmet). We go before you had the first one that took you sideways and showed you that you never needed to have that thought in the first place. The reality, which we call learnings, is that you’re powerful and strong, graceful and magical and courageous, and you can do whatever they need that has been unmet.

We’ve imbued the guided meditation with all those other modalities, so you’re getting both the conscious and the unconscious mind to release it. In one meditation series, each area of life has 10 meditations that take you through the beginning all the way through an entire process of quantum release. At the end of the 10 meditations, you’ve had a shift.

In our next interview, we learned the interesting contributions of Maris Segal and Ken Ashby, bestselling authors, speakers, and creators of the RFactor, who seem to be assisting to revolutionize humanity as Conscious and Relational Leadership Coaches.

Do you see yourself as more of a Trailblazer, Pioneer, or Disruptor, and Why?

Maris is from a traditional Jewish family steeped in community, and Ken is the grandson of farmers and the son of a preacher. Both of us are grounded in heart centered work to serve.

For as long as we can both remember, individually, we have been committed to raising and empowering humanity. We often embody each of these dynamic roles, and we’ve shared a sample beginning with Trail Blazing.

We’ve been blessed and honored to have spent over four decades, across 40 countries, blazing trails in the public and private sectors as business and philanthropy strategists, global relationship marketers, and award-winning event producers, uniting diverse voices in support of causes and over 500 celebrities and brands. It’s humbling to know we have helped mobilize millions along the way.

As Conscious & Relational Leadership coaches, our vision of creating a culture of connected, trusted relationships is built upon a profound belief that “We are all connected as humans first, and the bottom line begins with relationships.” This guiding philosophy is the foundation of our work as business strategists, coaches, trainers, authors, and speakers. We are in a relationship with someone or something 24/7. We call this relationship immersion the RFactor. Our new RFactor ground-breaking training program, which brings the 4 Universal Relationship Rhythms to life, focuses on

1) Relational Intelligence (RI) at work and home, especially in an AI world and by

2) Elevating human interpersonal skills is important, especially for cross-generational teams.

The RFactor Training Program Evolutionizes Relational Leadership

A new ground-breaking training program, that brings the 4 Universal Relationship Rhythms to life, The RFactor is evolutionizing traditional leadership by highlighting Relational Intelligence (RI) at work and home especially in an AI world and by elevating human interpersonal skills, important especially for cross generational team.

Give an example of a time you felt like you hit a dead end and had to forge on, blazing your own trail where there previously wasn’t one?

There are times when we hit walls and dead ends and always knew there was a door to a solution, just waiting for us to discover! As the Executive Producers for America’s 400th Anniversary in 2007, marking the commemoration of the founding of the first permanent English settlement in the U.S., we served as part of the leadership under two Governors, the Mayor, a Federal Commission, and historians. Our challenge overall was telling the history in its messy truth while honoring the impact and influence of the Native people, African Americans, and English. We worked from 2004-2007 to bring this history to life through 80 days of outdoor events, a Presidential visit, school programs, and original productions, and at every turn, there was another test of our leadership with challenges to navigate.

What tools, methods, templates, or best practices did you develop that you felt didn’t really exist in your industry before?

Method/Tool: During the pandemic pause, we launched 2 programs and several tools, including a best-selling book that offers a method to support building a culture at home and work of authentic connections for thriving individuals and prospering teams.

The RFactor Relational Leadership Program – using the RFactor approach to prospering businesses and thriving lives, this program is designed to shift the culture from disconnection to collaboration. It takes participants at all levels of their leadership journey on an exploration of 4 Universal Relationship Rhythms; Respect, Responsibility, Reframing, and Resilience, which, when working in sync at home and work, create a culture of communication, connection, collaboration, and trust. The RFactor tools include assessments, workshops, transformational experiences, and coaching.

How much has your industry changed over the years, and do you think it’s still changing a lot or a little?

The idea of leading business from a more “conscious human” space and combining more heart with head leadership, the core of our work, has been evolving greatly.

The pandemic pause catapulted personal development, and the industry underwent a profound transformation, evolving to meet the shifting needs and challenges of a world in flux. Teetering on burnout, millions of people gave themselves permission to rest, develop new skills, and focus more on themselves and their internal conflicts. There is a demand for online courses, virtual workshops, and digital queries regarding accessibility and convenience. Mental health and resilience became focal points, with an increased emphasis on mindfulness, self-care, and emotional well-being. This pivot not only democratized personal development but also spurred innovation, making self-improvement resources more diverse and widely available than ever before.

In what way were you the first or one of the first to do something?

There are many projects we have managed and successfully completed due to our highly refined use of relational rhythms, and in fact, one of the “firsts” was doing a TEDx talk on Mastering Connection with Relationship Rhythms. Some other examples are:

  • The first group to sponsor a school in Uganda with over 150 donors raising $95K during a 12-hour Zoomathon during Covid. We visited the school last summer.
  • Historic Commemorations – First Couplepreneur to consult, plan, and produce for – four 400th Commemorations (Virginia, Santa Fe, Plymouth, and New York).
  • As Executive Producers for America’s 400th Anniversary – (representing the founding of the first permanent English settlement 1607 history) we were the first in many ways, including First Live Youth Telecast to schools reaching 1 million.
  • Cultural Connections – For America’s 400th First to create an “all tribal drum” with representatives from the eight Virginia Indian tribes.
