A year following the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, it looks like Minecraft is on track to receive its own version for the console.
A new rating for the game just popped up in the ESRB classification database. To clarify, this is a separate entry from the Nintendo Switch version – Switch 2 is specifically listed.
Minecraft is already available on Nintendo Switch 2 via backwards compatibility. In other words, you can play the Nintendo Switch 1 version on the system. However, a native Nintendo Switch 2 version could bring new benefits for players.
