NJ Transit ramps up service, staffing ahead of FIFA World Cup opener at MetLife Stadium

To prepare, NJ Transit says about 1,600 conductors and 400 engineers will be working or on standby Saturday. Hundreds of customer ambassadors will also be stationed throughout the system, including at New York Penn Station, to help travelers.
