Mario Kart Tour originally released for mobile devices back in September 2019 and it saw 4 years new content and regular updates. That support came to an end in October 2023 when Nintendo officially ended the distribution of new content for the game. Since then, we’ve only seen Nintendo introduce fresh content to celebrate the arrival of Mario Kart World, but then it was right back to a loop of previous updates.
