A new game in the FAR CRY universe has passed its conception stage at Ubisoft and has entered development at Vantage Studios.
The new game comes in the wake of issues surrounding another FAR CRY game in development, codenamed Maverick, an extraction shooter that has since been canceled.

Codenamed Kodiak, the new FAR CRY game is described as an open-world FPS where “player interactions and player-driven stories take center stage”.
Kodiak passed its conceptualization stage earlier this month and has been built on the foundations of Maverick, but thankfully, the series will now be leaving
