A supposed Geekbench result for an unreleased M6 Pro chip surfaced this week, but it is likely fake.
Geekbench creator John Poole informed MacRumors that he uncovered “internal inconsistencies” that lead him to believe that the M6 Pro result might not be legitimate. Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman previously reported that Apple plans to skip M6 Pro and M6 Max chips entirely.
